If you are like most truck owners, the bed of your truck can take a beating primarily if you use it for working or hauling stuff for you and your friends. Even if you don’t use your truck bed very often, you probably find all kinds of dirt, debris, leaves and other stuff that makes its way into the back of the truck.
If you want your truck to remain beautiful and clean and keep your bed liner in good condition, you need to make sure that you regularly clean it.If you want your truck bed to be spotless and shine you should know the proper way on how to clean a truck bed liner. The way that you clean your truck bed liner will depend on how what type of coating you have in the truck as there are slightly different ways depending on what material and style you have.how to clean a truck bed liner
A Look At the Different Truck Bed LinersBefore you can start cleaning your truck bed liner, you need to determine which kind of coating you have as there will be variations on the best way to clean it. For example, some truck bed liners are removable and should be removed from the truck to get them clean.
Spray-On Liner – If you have a spray-on truck bed liner cleaning your pickup truck bed may be as easy as merely cleaning the rest of your truck. These types of ships are durable and, and since they are permanent, you wouldn’t be able to remove them for cleaning.
Drop-In Liner – There are different kinds of the drop in truck bed liners as some are removable while others are supposed to be permanent. If your ship is removable, then it’s an excellent idea to remove the liner every once in a while to give it a good cleaning. On the other hand, if you have a permanent drop in liner, you would need to clean it while it is stationed on the truck bed.Truck Bed Mat – If you have a very simple liner that is more like a mat, you can get these clean by removing the carpet and washing it outside of the truck. It’s a good idea to remove the carpet whenever washing your truck because you can get water stuck under the mat that will then sit there. How to Clean a Truck Bed LinerNow that you know the difference in some of the different truck bed liners you can adapt your cleaning to fit the style of your ship. Use the following steps to clean your liner either inside your truck bed or on the outside on a flat surface.Sweep Out Any Debris or Dirt
Cleaning will go a lot smoother if you sweep out any debris or dirt that is in your truck liner first. If you have lots of trash in your ship and you start spraying some water at it, you will end up with mud all over your bed liner which will do more work for you.
Use a simple push broom to remove the dirt and debris from the liner. If you want to get into the crevices and small spaces, you can use a small hand broom, but this isn’t necessary.
Spray Down the Bed LinerUse a forceful spray of water to wash out the bed liner. If you have a pressure washer, you can use this to get in the corners of the coating and get all the dirt out.If you are cleaning your liner outside of your truck, you dump the water out of the liner to help clean some of it out and get all the dirt out along with the water. If you are cleaning your liner in the truck, you can use a broom to push the water and dirt out of the truck or point the hose in the direction, so everything flows out the back of the truck.Wash the Bed Liner Thoroughly
Once you have the liner wet down and almost all of the noticeable dirt and mud has been washed out, you need to use a cleaner to get the bed liner to shine. Some people use a pure car wash soap, but you may find that it isn’t powerful enough to get your liner clean. If you want your bed liner to sparkle and shine you need to use something a little more robust. You can look for a citrus cleaner, which works to remove the dirt and grime from the bed liner. Something like orange concentrate cleaner would work well as well.If you have a spray on bed liner, you can also try a degreaser if you notice the citrus cleaner is not powerful enough to get rid of the grime. Since the spray on bed liner is pretty durable, it can withstand the powerful degreaser but you may not want to use it every time but instead just when your truck needs that proper washing. Also with the spray on bed liner, you can also try to use a stiff nylon brush to scrub the dirt away. This helps to really get in the corners and wash away the stuff that may be stuck on as well. Just be careful that you don’t scratch the liner.

Rinse and Dry the Liner
Once again use the most potent spray on the hose or a pressure washer to rinse off the cleaner. Make sure that you get into all the corners.Usually, you will notice that with a pressure washer you can get most of the dirt and stains off merely just from the washing, but after using the cleaner, you should notice your liner starting to shine.Once you have washed everything off and you are satisfied with the removable of all the dirt and stains, you will need to dry out the bed liner. Most of the time you will notice that if the sun is out, the bed liner will start drying up on its own pretty fast. If it is not drying fast enough for you, then you can take a microfiber cloth and wipe the areas of the bed liner that seem to be collecting the water. This can be a great way to deep clean your truck bed liner and get it to look brand new. The key is to use the powerful water spray and understanding in all the crevices and corners.
Some people complain that this method doesn’t work and nothing they try gets the liner clean. If that is the case then most likely your ship has faded over the time because there was no UV top coat used. In this case, you can try to restore it and then use a UV top coat or use it as is and realize that it’s not dirty but just faded.

Polyurea coatings are ideal for your retail store floor because among many reasons, they will last for years and are very easy to maintain. A neoprene squeegee, stiff bristle broom, warm water and a small amount of detergent with a degreasing agent is all that is needed to keep your floor looking new for years.

Decorative concrete has become one of the leading flooring choices for retail stores nationwide during the past 5-10 years. The reason is the ability to customize a floor with a seamless surface that is easy to keep clean. The biggest complaint is how to maintain the facade. Typical water-based and acrylic sealers need an expensive maintenance system to protect the sealers. If the sealers wear out the decorative concrete underneath will be compromised.

In the past few years, a new protective coating has been developed that solves the problem of premature wear and expensive upkeep. This finish is a polyaspartic polyurea which is in the epoxy family but with an advanced chemical composition. These coatings wear like iron with a few blends that prevent scraping. The new variety of polyureas come in clear or can be pigmented in any color. Endless design options make them ideal decorative coatings.

However, the real benefit is their high performance and low maintenance.

Polyurea and Epoxy Coatings Benefits

1. Surface Preparation is the first and most crucial step in the process. This consists of sanding the exterior to a smooth, flat surface. When done correctly all the high spots in your concrete is removed. This is important for the outcome. You want the coating to be flat and blemish free. After the floor is ground smooth, cracks in the floor will be exposed and need to be filled.

2. Color Options are unlimited. Polyureas are clear coats. Your concrete can be stained or dyed then coatings can be applied. A second option is to add color pigments into the coating. Decorative chips or quartz can be added accompanied by a clear top coat. Decorative chips come in numerous sizes and colors. Small 1/16th inch chips resemble colored quartz at a portion of the cost. There are also designer chips that include glitter.

Custom graphics can be designed and inlaid within coats. These are a high definition, specialized cloth material that is protected by the clear top coat.

3. Bacteria Resistant - One of the unique perks to polyaspartic and epoxy coatings is the tight linking of their chemical structure. The result is minimal micro-scratches and what scratches may appear to have a straight edge as opposed to a frayed edge. Straight edges in a scratch enable dirt and bacteria to be easily cleaned from a floor. Coatings that get frayed edges to trap dirt and moisture which breeds bacteria and makes the floor look dirty and yellow.

4. Waterproof After the floor is prepared correctly the coatings are applied. Polyureas and epoxy coatings absorb into the surface. This is called "wetting." When the coating cures, all the veins and tiny air holes in concrete are capped off, and the coating becomes part of the floor. This process stops moisture vapor from delaminating the surface.

5. Ease of maintenance. It's recommended to use warm water, a neoprene squeegee, and stiff bristle broom to clean the floor. If there is not a floor drain, a wet vac can be used. This system eliminated the need for a mop that does nothing more than move dirt around. Floors are cleaned fast and dry instantly. This is not only a money-saving system but restores clarity to the level. With regular cleansing, the floor will look brand new for years.

Many companies are offering high-performance polyurea coatings, which are produced by a chemical reaction of two components. These coatings are multi-purpose and serve a wide variety of uses – spray in bed liners, garage floors, roof coating, roads, and bridges to name just a few. I recommend purchasing polyurea coating from manufacturers that include eco-friendly options from Green Insulation, affordable options like ArmorThane does.

When applied, these protective coatings cure quickly and can withstand varying atmospheric conditions, including high humidity and low temperatures. We recommend these industrial coatings for a wide range of applications across many trades such as transportation, building and construction, and landscaping. Truck bed linings, railcar linings, and conveyor belt linings can all be coated with spray polyurea. Polyurea is also a vital part of spray foam roofing systems, as it adds waterproofing and UV protection to the roof.

These coatings create a seamless, waterproof lining on wood, concrete, metal and foam surfaces – in addition to other substrates. We recommend industrial coatings for both residential and commercial applications, from aquarium and pond linings to reservoirs, cold storage, and mechanical rooms.

By using spray polyurea coatings, you get a more uniform application, even coverage, and since it requires less pressure to coat, there’s less overspray. With quick-set times ranging between 5 and 15 seconds, industrial coatings cure faster than traditional polyurethane and epoxy coverings. Because it sets so quickly, spray polyurea can be applied to surfaces that are cold or damp, such as steel or concrete, and allows for less downtime of the area. Many polyurea coatings are weather resistant and color stable, making them unaffected by discoloration due to ultraviolet sunlight.

Polyurea protective coatings extend the life of the product sprayed on and also makes everything more durable and dependable as they’re perfect for any area that needs sealing and waterproofing.

High-performance coatings are supplied by polyurea coatings manufacturers that have been in the industry for years. We stand behind our products and are happy to help you find the polyurea coating you need for your job.

At some point, virtually every truck owner reaches a crossroad — whether to drop-in or spray-on a bedliner. This seemingly small decision will determine how your truck ages, how you can use the bed and how the vehicle will look for years to come.

A spray-on liner is a watertight, airtight sealant (often made of urethane) that is applied to the bed of your truck. A drop-in liner is like a protective case for an iPhone. It is typically a robust and rigid cover that attaches to the truck bed. You can add each of the two types of liners to a truck yourself, or have them professionally installed.

The Internet is full of articles that dissect the pros and cons of each option, but it's much more difficult to find a piece that helps you choose by lifestyle. That's why we created a list of five "I" statements to help you think about what you need. Read through them to learn which option might best fit your truck and your life.

1. "I plan to sell my truck in a few years."

Consider: Drop-In

A spray-on liner is a more notable delegation than a drop-in. The person you trade the truck to might want the liberty to make up his or her mind about the bedliner. If you use a drop-in, you can remove it when you're ready to trade the vehicle.

2. "I go to the beach all the time."

Consider: Spray-On

Sand and water can go into the diminutive passage between your truck and the drop-in liner. Sand may scrape away the paint below. Water can gather and possibly lead to corrosion. A spray-on coating prevents this problem by forming a virtually impenetrable bond with your vehicle. Sand and water won't have anyplace to hide.

 3. "I often transport heavy or sharp objects in my truck."

Consider: Drop-In

Spray-on liners are incredibly dense, but they tend to be thinner than drop-in alternatives. Heavy or sharp objects can cause gouges or scratches in your coating that might be better protected by the thicker drop-in option. Keep in mind, it's possible to break a drop-in bed liner, but the force required is significant.

4. "I want to add a liner without adding extra weight or noise to my truck."

Consider: Spray-On

Spray-on bedliners tend to be lighter than drop-ins, especially models that are deep. And, since a drop-in is something you attach, it's possible to hear it vibrate against the truck body when you drive. It's a minimal amount of potential noise, but it will be louder than a spray-on bed liner.

5. "I want something that's easy to install."

Consider: Drop-In

Although "easy" is an idiosyncratic term, antagonists of spray-on bed liners make a good case against this option. Although it can be sprayed, wiped or rolled on, it takes longer to fit the surface of the truck for spray-on versions. If you misapply it, it might peel. And, if you spill it in the wrong area, the spray-on liner's ability to firmly stick to your truck can turn into a glum. Although they require some manual labor, drop-ins don't have the same issues and can be easier to install.

Ultimately, you're the greatest judge of what manages for you. With the advances in spray-on technology, the playing field is pretty level when it comes to truck bed liners, and we urge you to investigate both choices. One easy way to take a look at the different options is to search for a truck using "bed liner" as a keyword. And if a bed liner is only one of the ways you want to improve your truck, check out "ArmorThane."

There are numerous types of spray booths for essentially any project you have in mind. If you can’t find what you’re watching for, custom spray booth manufacturers can design one for you. Below I have assembled a list of the different types of spray booths as well as a little info about their uses.

Spray Booths for Vehicle Spray Coating: This is typically what many think of when they think of a spray booth. This type of spray booth is a well-ventilated, enclosed building-like structure used for spray painting a variety of vehicles, boats, cars and airplanes.

Painting any type of vehicle is a complicated, dangerous undertaking that should only be done by professionals. In fact, many do-it-yourself car enthusiasts often take their lovingly restored vehicles to experienced professionals for the paint job because they don’t have the equipment necessary to do a professional job – and safe – job.

If your hobby ever becomes a full-time business, it is critically important to have the right structure to do the job. Because large amounts of harmful chemicals are being emitted, spray booths are necessary to help maintain things like airflow, temperature, draft direction and more. Spray booths have to adhere to strict environmental and safety codes. It is a highly regulated industry designed to protect man and nature.

Powder Spray Booths: These are used when you want to apply a powder-based colorant to a surface. Unless you’re applying this type of colorant, most experts recommend regular spray booths for most jobs. In fact, they are ideal for everything from a regular car painting job to creating intricate airbrush designs.

Spray Booths for Wood Finishing: If you’re a carpenter or furniture builder/manufacturer, a wood finishing booth is an ideal investment in your business. Wood finishing booths come in a variety of designs.

For more of the hobbyist, there are so-called “bench top” versions that can sit atop a work table or bench to apply lacquer and other finishes. For the more commercial businessman, there are full-on versions that fit in a shed or workshop. In fact, some wood finishing booths act as sheds/workshops themselves.

Spray Booths for Artistic Purposes: These are mostly used by hobbyists who use them to paint model trains, cars, airplanes, etc. They are small, lightweight and portable. And, they can be set up almost anywhere.

Now that you know the different types of spray booths following is some further information to help you choose the right size.

Spray Booth Dimensions: What size spray booth do you need? You want to be sure to give length, height, and width. And, do it for the largest size object you plant to use the booth for.

For example, if you want to add spray booths for automobile painting, remember to measure each booth according to the size of the largest vehicle. Size matters because the larger the spray booth dimensions are, the larger the motor and fan wheel need to be to generate the necessary airflow into the recovery system.
